attendees to an event. With the old manual method, there was

the event limit had been reached. Registrants would have to be
contacted, only to be told that their registration could not be

Once you have reached the limit, a notification will advise
potential registrants that registration is full.

for your event, you may wonder how to get your potential delegates to
use it. As we are aware, there are still many people out there
who are wary about using online methods to purchase items and/or
register for events. Here are some ideas on how to get people
using online registration:
1. At
a minimum, participants need to know that the online payment option is
secure, that the form is easy to use and will make the process of
registration easier and more efficient for all involved. aNd

2. If
you can get away with it, having online registration as the only
option would be ideal. If that’s too great a leap, you can
provide a downloadable PDF form for registrants to fill out and fax
back. You should still make it clear in all your promotional
materials that online registration is the preferred method.
3. Make
the link to the online registration form prominent in all your
promotional materials and on your event website. If you send an
invitation or print an ad, make sure your customers’ eyes are drawn to
information telling them where to register online. On your event
website, give large, prominent, obvious clues, such as “Click here to
register online” in big letters.
4. Bribery
is also a great way to get people to do something! Offer
incentives to customers who use your online registration system.
Offer discounts or random draw prices, available exclusively to online
registrants.
