Following an extensive career in advertising and film production, Jan has worked in the conference and special events industry since 1985. Her experience includes conference management and administration, incentive programs, special event co-ordination and production; destination management projects, trade show management, volunteer management and large-scale transportation and shuttle service planning. With over 30 years of planning experience, Jan brings a vast range of skills and expertise to every project.
Jan specializes in onsite logistical execution and supervision, overseeing volunteers, security, and crowd movement and control. Her recent project list includes the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) Discovery Conference and Trade Show, which features over 200 exhibitors and 2200 attendees; Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy and Cosmetics divisions annual trade shows, to name a few.
A die-hard fan of the LEAFS and musical theatre, Jan takes advantage of any spare time she has by spending time and travelling with her four grandsons and three grand nephews...
