Last November, aNd Logistix proudly took care of the registration and general event management of the CAAMP/ ACCHA (Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals)'s annual National Conference and Expo. From November 22 to November 24, 2010, we have welcomed the CAAMP Members at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. In keeping with CAAMP's educational mandate, the 3-day conference and trade show brought together 1,500 attendees and 80 exhibitors, offering educational experiences through dynamic professional speakers and a variety of networking opportunities including the Mortgage Hall of Fame and Awards Night, an evening that recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the Canadian Mortgage industry and included entertainment by the talented Canadian Tenors.

Speaking of the Canadian Tenors, aNd Logistix proudly watched the Canadian Tenors perform on the Oprah Winfrey Show on February 10, 2010. The band, consisting of four members, Fraser Walters, Victor Micallef, Remigio Perreira and Clifton Murray have performed at a number of aNd Logistix produced events such as the 'Shoppers Drug Mart Face of the Future' concert and the 'Knowledge, Wisdom, Achievement and Excellence' gala event for the Canadian Association of Mortgage Professionals. While performing their rendition of 'Hallelujah', the Canadian Tenors were surprised by Celine Dion who joined them from backstage for the last chorus of the song. Huge fans of Celine Dion, the look of surprise and sheer joy was obvious on all four of the Tenors faces. From Oprah to Dr. Phil to the Olympics, keep your eyes and ears open for these talented performers!

A graduate of the Special Events for Destination Tourism program at George Brown College, Jimmy Tanudjaja recently joined our team as our new Registration Manager.

Jimmy has spent the last 5 years in multiple roles in the Meeting and Incentive Industry including registration and operations. Jimmy's background includes several years in the financial sector as a Loans Officer. Being the only male employee, he will bring a new dynamic to the team.

These aspects will help to ensure that event will run smoothly with the assurance of having the most correct and up-to-date information available.
